Earlier this week, the Laser Physics group at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm received a special visit from M. Mikael Winters, our partner at Laser Components Nordic AB and representative for Northern Europe.

Mikael met with Professor Valdas Pasiskevicius (on the picture) and Professor Fredrik Laurell and brought them a donation of a Gentec-EO Power Meter consisting in a Maestro monitor with a UP19K detector. In a written statement, Professor Pasiskevicius states: “I would like to express gratefulness for the generous donation of the power meter for the benefit of the laser physics students at KTH.”

They are both from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Department of Applied Physics, Laser Physics group. Some additional information about a recent research project they run can be found here:

We hope that the students at KTH will benefit from this addition to their laboratory equipment, and we would like to thank Mikael for making this happen!
