Water calorimeter power detectors

To measure laser power of high-power lasers (above the kilowatt level), we developed a line of detectors based on water calorimetry: the HP series. In these products, the cooling water also serves as a measurement tool. Both water flow and temperature are monitored to calculate the laser power that is incident on the detector.

Our high-power solutions are robust, stable, compact and light-weight. They can even be scaled up and custom-built to your desired dimensions. We have made water calorimeters that can measure up to 100 kW of laser power, with no limit on maximum exposure time.
